Carmel Laser Aesthetics & Spa is a full service medical spa established in 2006 with state-of-the art aesthetics procedures as well as traditional spa treatments. We specialize in Photo Rejuvenation, Laser Skin Resurfacing, Chemical Peels, Skin Tightening, Laser Hair Removal, Botox & Dermal Fillers. Our treatments utilize only the latest and most advanced laser technology available. Each of our treatments has been carefully developed to be safe and extremely effective.

Christina Joyce, RN
Dr. Dana Welle became interested in aesthetic medicine while practicing obstetrics and gynecology in Santa Cruz. Her patients would travel out of town for aesthetic services, so after extensive studying and training, she co-founded Harbor Laser Skin Care in 2003. She then co-founded Carmel Laser in 2006. She is a board certified Ob-gyn and a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics & Gynecology and the American College of Surgeons. Despite a strong surgical background, she wanted to provide her clients with non-surgical methods for patients who desire a more youthful appearance.
Christina Joyce is also known as our “beauty nurse” who does all of our medical procedures and laser treatments at Carmel Laser. Christina graduated from Nursing in 1999 and became a partner with Carmel Laser Aesthetics in 2009. She has completed extensive training with Allergan for Botox and Injection services and has trained with several plastic surgeons. Her approach to aesthetics is "less is more" and believes that beauty radiates from within. Christina is certified for the "Palomar Icon Laser" and has completed complex skin treatment certifications and loves to continue her education when she can. She stands behind today's revolutionary skin care procedures and believes both men and women should be knowledgable about the safe and affordable treatments available in today's industry. Christina provides laser skin treatments and injectables along with skin care consultations. She works closely with her estheticians to ensure the proper approach for each client. Christina worked at Community Hospital for over 13 years.

Christine had an interest in skincare from a young age. Realizing that proper products and daily maintenance is instrumental. Christine graduated with honors from the Cinta Aveda Institute, San Francisco with a license in Esthetics. It was there that she learned about Ayurveda and the Aveda philosophy of skincare. Christine continued to further her education by becoming a trained and certified PCA SKIN professional. Christine has also been trained with Rhonda Allison skincare treatments and peel procedures. She continues to seek new knowledge and expand her education in this vast and rapidly growing field. Christine has always enjoy making people feel better about themselves. She provides exceptional service to her clients and carefully listens to clients' concerns and needs. She has a genuine enthusiasm and natural talent for working with clients and her goal is to help others find wellness through beauty.
zoe phillips Master esthetician
With enthusiasm, a love for people and the health of their skin, Zoe took the necessary steps to venture into a new career in Skincare and earned her Esthetics license through Marinello on the Monterey Peninsula and The Cosmo Factory in Santa Cruz, California. She continues to deepen her knowledge through advanced coursework and hands on training at Concepts Institute for Advanced Skincare in Daly City. Her passions within the beauty industry run from the art of brow shaping to improving the overall function of the skin itself through proper maintenance and care. Zoe currently resides in Carmel Valley with her husband and two daughters. She looks forward to working alongside clients to educate, encourage, and guide them to a path result driven skincare.
